Marketing is more than a career for me; it’s a passion that stirs within to help people and companies reach their goals. The strategies I’ve learned to implement alongside the creativity I’ve learn to exercise, is what I believe has become one of my greatest artforms to date.
When I was asked to lead the marketing team that would service a career school, the biggest challenge was obvious – the scale and depth of content to promote. In addition to the growth strategy I implemented, which included expanding their social media, for Central Coast College we also utilized paid advertising through Facebook and Google Ads and eventually produced video ads for broadcast television. YouTube has proved to be a significant promotional outlet for Central Coast College, and as a production and branding resource, we brought over 300,000 views to their YouTube channel in the span of one year.
Of course, the goal for any educational institution is an increase in enrollment, and with the team I was working with, we increased their quality leads to forty prospective students per week and after 5 years of helping them grow, ended my relationship with them with a growth strategy in place that was filling classes to maximum capacity.
When I first began working with Central Coast College, their website was outdated and their branding needed a modern touch. I helped lead the team that did just that. We designed a new website, streamlined their branding on all social media sites, and began producing modern, relevant content on their behalf.
They were spending twice as much on marketing and getting less than half the results they were getting with my growth strategy in place. I revolutionized the way they saw their ad dollars and put a great social media strategy into effect that produced a 200% ROI.
With the team I had in place, we originally set out to bring in 40 new leads a week. I’m proud to say that my growth strategy over the 5 years I worked with them led to CCC having their classes filled to capacity at the beginning of 2020.
They used to pay big dollars to film a commercial once a year or two. I proposed filming a high-quality commercial every month for a more affordable price. After all, video is the most engaging form of content on the internet right now.
