Kyle Hollins saw a need in the inner city of Kansas City, for children and teens growing up in a high-stress environment of violent crime. Lyrik’s Institution was formed, a program of cognitive behavior therapy that helps to change participants’ destructive thinking patterns into productive and positive behaviors.
The programs of Lyrik’s Institution focus on the creative arts and prepare young people for viable paying careers to enable them to break the cycle of poverty and violent crime. To increase the number of people they could help, and to reach more donors, Lyrik’s Institution needed a clear way to tell their story to the public. They got in touch with me to put together a growth strategy. This included me leading a team that created monthly video productions, implemented social media advertising, and created content.
Within the first four months of working together, I enabled Lyrik’s Institution to reach 80,000 people with YouTube and Meta ads. Lyrik’s Institution also saw a 272% increase in reach on Instagram year over year.
